Both the owners of the Jacksonville Axemen, Spinner Howland and Drew Slover, along with two lovely ladies from Jacksonville, took part in the annual JAX Rugby golf Tournament over the past weekend.
With Spinner still refering to his golf equipment as a "Bag of Golf Racquets" and Drew Slover using driving range balls, the foursome proved they are no threat to the PGA tour anytime soon.
The day was a great outing and with almost a full field it was one of the most successful event for the local Union team in recent years.
The Axemen pride themselves on being able to give back to the local clubs that they draw so many players from and hope that the continued support helps keep at least one code of Rugby being played in Jacksonville almost year round.
