With the support of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC) and the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), the Jacksonville Axemen spent three days at the festival promoting the January 26th Rugby League game that will see the South Sydney Rabbitohs from Australia take on the Leeds Rhino from England.

Armed with some great video footage of Rugby League and some Axemen highlights from the past two seasons the booth was a big hit among the ex-patriot crowd. One of the big attractions was the prize of Event Tickets, VIP Post Game Tickets and a nights stay in Jacksonville, with over 100 people signing up to win.

They also had plenty of information about Jacksonville and the surrounding area that allowed festival goers to see the many things that our great city has to offer to visitors.

We are also pleased that a spike in ticket sales has been see the week following this promotion and it appears that many of those sales are coming from the South Florida area.
