The City of Jacksonville is giving Axemen Founder and Co-Owner Daryl "Spinner" Howland a proclamation tomorrow night at 5pm. It is going to be at city hall which is on the corner of Duval and Laura streets (4 blocks directly north of the Landing)
It is for his efforts in putting together the Australia Day Rugby League Challenge.

Spinner released a short thank you to everyone that made this event a success earlier today.

"I am flattered and honored at this gesture. I want to take this moment to thank everyone that supported me, the Axemen, Rugby League and/or just showed up at one of our events over the past 2 years. 
This has all been like a huge jigsaw puzzle and so many people bought a piece to the table. All I did was put them together.
So to the City, JEDC, CVB, UNF, AMNRL, sponsors, media, fans, friends, Souths Sydney, Leeds Rhinos and those that just came and watched a game, thank you."
