Axemen searching for new Title Sponsor
The Jacksonville Axemen are now searching for new sponsors for the 2010 season

We are sad to say that our current title sponsor (Barons Brewing) will not be able to continue with us due to import problems of their product into the USA. We would like to make it very clear that they have been an excellent partner for the last 2 years and would be with us again if not for this import issue that is beyond their control. They have expressed a great interest in continuing with the Axemen in the future and wish us well but until their product import challenge is resolved they need to focus on other avenues of their business.

With that, we are excited at the prospect of moving forward with a new title sponsor. We are prepared to work with any potential sponsor to structure a program that will fully integrate their brand with the Jacksonville Axemen.

The Jacksonville Axemen have been able to show a great value to all partners and sponsors over the past four years and we continue to get glowing reviews from everyone who is involved with us. We operate as one of the most professional teams in the American National Rugby League while keeping our entire annual budget very low. Although we have been successful in creating the incredible perception of a large professional organization in all areas, both owners Spinner Howland and Drew Slover actually fill almost all roles in the administration and business side of the team and are also very "hands on" with day-to-day team operations as well. This formula has proven invaluable in lowering operating costs while delivering exceptional value and a true feeling of personal service and loyalty to all our sponsoring partners.

Because of this we have been able to focus on the players, the fans, and the game to create the best possible environment for each game. More importantly this allows us to keep our costs to fans low yet offer the same items and environment of a major sporting event. This plan of operations will continue in 2010 in an effort to make sure that anyone who partners with the Jacksonville Axemen can be assured that we are focusing on team exposure, attracting new fans and increasing the overall “Axemen Experience”. We are proud that we have become a GLOBAL brand not only in the sport of Rugby League but one that has put the City of Jacksonville on the National and International map.

We understand that for most businesses, 2009 was a tough one and 2010 will also have its challenges so we have spent weeks restructuring our business plan to adjust to the changes, and we are completely committed providing the highest quality and most affordable sports entertainment in Jacksonville for both our fans and partners. In 2010, there will be NO increase in season ticket prices, minimal (if any) game day walk up admission, NO increase on Axemen merchandise, and minimal (if any at all) on concession items. "We believe that it is better to have more fans at a reasonable price to reach our goals than it is to have fewer fans and charge each of them more!!" The truth is that the more fans we have the more valuable we are to our sponsors, our brand gets more exposure and the City of Jacksonville benefits from larger events.

We encourage any business owner or fan that would like to support the team to contact us. Our partnership programs have a broad range and are structured to fit any marketing budget. We are also able to customize all of our partnerships to suit any needs with exposure for those partners during the games, on TV, over the live internet broadcast, and via radio.

2010 has the opportunity to be the greatest year for the Axemen, and we hope that you can help make it even better. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact:
