Wes is now in his Fith Year as the head referee for the Axemen. In addition to having 4 full seasons of domestic Rugby League under his belt he has also attended a number of ref clinis and classes run by international accredited refs.

Playing Experience = After a 22 year Rugby Union Playing Career which seen him play for many teams in the USA and reach many finals, Wes has held a Florida Rugby Union Referee Certification since 1995. He will also hold the position of Rules and Code officer for the Axemen to ensure that the club is up to date on any changes that may occur throughout the season and they stay in compliance with all AMNRL codes and conduct.
