FREE Event that will include the Wigan Warriors Rugby League team from the UK.

This Thursday (Dec 18) the Jacksonville Axemen are privileged to host the Wigan Warriors (UK) Rugby League team for a training session and scrimmage. The event is FREE and open to the public, with a 3.30pm start time at LOSCO PARK located at 10931 Hood Road South, Jacksonville, FL 32257.

The Axemen will get a short training session with the Warriors before the scrimmage starts, and it will run for about 40 minutes.

Following the scrimmage we are inviting all our fans to join Wigan for the Jacksonville Jaguars game. The Warriors will be enjoying the tailgate events during the pre-game and then be sitting in section 243 for the game. We hope that Jacksonville welcomes the Warriors and shows them the legendary hospitality we have become known for with all visiting Rugby League teams.

This is a great way to show your appreciation to the Jacksonville Jaguars for supporting the Axemen since our inaugural 2006 season. Over the years the Jags have offered tours to teams and fans who visited Jacksonville for camps and games, they have hosted the Axemen on the field during pre-game for winning the National Championship, they have allowed coach meetings and information exchanges, and they have helped grow the Axemen brand in a way we could have never dreamed. So we encourage all Axemen fans to consider making the Thursday Night Football game as the face the Titans.
