Taylor Alley wins game MVP in win over the Boston 13’s

Trailing 32-14 at three quarter time the Axemen were all but beaten and would require to one of the greatest comebacks in Axemen history if they were to defeat the Boston 13’s.

Tough man Taylor Alley decided to take it upon himself and lead the charge, single handingly changing the momentum of the game with his aggressive defence earning him the MVP award. Alley who always plays above his weight combined with Rich Alleger and big man Matt Thornton to open the scoring immediately in the 3rd quarter igniting the comeback. The 13’s had numerous scoring opportunities down the left side of the field but Alley made the correct defensive decision everytime ensuring the 13’s remained scoreless in the final quarter.

Coach Mat Keeley has been extremely impressed with the right side combination of Alleger, Clark, Alley and Thornton and is hoping they continue their form against the Philadelphia Fight this weekend.
