The Axemen welcome Aussie hooker/halfback Nathan Richter to the 2019 roster as one of the three new import players.
Richter, also a high school teacher from Bensville, Central Coast, NSW, has played with the Umina Bunnies, St Eddies Bears, Woy Woy Roosters and the Kincumber Colts. Highlights have been 2016 Central Coast Premiers with the Kincumber Colts and being named MVP for his high school team.
“I’ve been playing rugby league since I was 13 and to play overseas in a national competition is an opportunity I can’t wait to experience,” says Richter. “The club and community culture looks strong, supportive and very enthusiastic which I love in a footy team, so I’m keen to be a part of it all. I’m really looking forward to being an Axeman this year and helping the team go back to back.”
“This season I hope to make some lifelong friends, get involved with the Jacksonville community, and most importantly raise the trophy up at the end of the season!”
