Longchamp Named Axemen Man of the Match Against DC

A dominating performance by Barthelemy Longchamp saw him voted the Most Valuable Player vs the D.C. Slayers. It was clear Longchamp had trained hard over the off-season as he terrorised the Slayers with his bustling runs and physical defence. At only 24 years of age Longchamp has proven he has what it takes to play the toughest position in the game ‘front row’ where he topped the hit up count with 21 runs in 60 minutes of play. The Axeman are coming off a convincing win against the Slayers and coach Mat Keeley will be looking for Longchamp to carry this form into the first home game against Onieda FC on June 9 at Hodges Stadium.
